Ok this had to be done, just to get it all out there, then I’ll shut up lol

This Killing in the Name of campaign is soo stupid, and has been annoying me ever since it has been taken up by the gullible amongst you.

Is it really that detrimental to your lives that you deny someone who has been given a chance to achieve success?

One of the facebook groups says this

“Fed up of being generation x and all the reality tv shows? Make a stand against the Xfactor and invite all your friends for a mass demo against Simon Cowell’s money machine!”

Hmmm so by standing against “Simon Cowell’s money machine” you are in fact giving the people behind it all more money! All you are achieving is making more money for Sony Music as both Joe McElderry and Rage Against the Machine are both on that label. Syco Music for Joe and Epic for Rage are both a subsidiary of Sony Music, so either way for them it’s win win. If anything you are all making them MORE money than they would have if Joe would have just released his single??

Surely you would have put an artist on an independent label as a alternative to Joe?? That way I could have at least seen your money making point??

I think that trying to get a 17 year old song back in the charts at the expense of an new potential talent is a bad direction in music which I don’t want to be a part of….

A comment on one group says:

“I’m gonna buy it 100 times. 29quid will be worth it to see cowells face if he doesn’t get number 1”

How sad……It’s not about Simon, it’s now about Joe?? Just put yourselves in the position of him or any other new artist for that matter, how would you feel having a campaign against you, not achieving all you can achieve just because others believe different….

By all means have your opinions on what you believe to be music, but forcing a song to number one out of spite is unnecessary and uncalled for? If it is for the purpose of representing another type of music then make the point another week, or when those types of artists release music, go out and buy it, promote to high heaven but not at the expense of another? You could have at least chose a song being released the same week, that way the argument is far more viable!

Finally those who watched the show but are supporting this campaign, SHAME ON YOU, how fickle and stupid can you be?! If you don’t wish Simon Cowell to release songs from the X Factor then DO NOT WATCH IT, if there are no people watching the X Factor there won’t be one, and if there is no X Factor to release the songs there will be no songs…..simple.

Not only is this eye the first time since Big Brother 1 that a real eye has been used in the design, and that Daniel Eatock, the usual designer of the Eye logo since BB2 has been ditched, but it is also the first time, to memory, that a new logo has been created for CBB. Usually they just recycle the Summer Big Brother eye by putting a star in the centre…..

This will be the 7th Series of the Celebrity Big Brother franchise and of course will be the last as we all found out last year that both this CBB and the summer Big Brother will be the last on Channel 4

One the Channel 4 website they write:

The show is being billed as Celebrity Big Brother ‘Hell Lies in Others’ and by the look of the brand new logo Big Brother clearly has some fiery plans in store

Executive producer Shirley Jones said:

This is no holiday camp for pampered personalities; Celebrity Big Brother won’t be leaving the limelight quietly

Here is a teaser advert they have released…..

The advert features the new theme, “Hell Lies in Others” and a very classical almost Victorian england sounding music using the score from the Big Brother Theme.

TNA will go live on Monday 4th January to debut Hulk Hogan’s first appearance in the ring since he announced he was to join TNA in October. It’s Impact show will be a 3 hour special to mark to occasion.

Hogan and TNA President Dixie Carter attended “The Ultimate Fighter Heavyweights” Finale in Las Vegas where Hogan made the announcement in an interview with Joe Rogan.

It will be the first time since WCW was brought by WWE that a rival wrestling company will air on the same day as WWE’s Monday Night Show, RAW.

Expect some major feuding between TNA and WWE, this is TNA’s way of saying BRING IT ON

In an Interview Hogan Said:

“I knew when I signed with TNA, that it would be important to make a statement with the first episode. Going head-to-head on January 4th, makes the statement loud and clear: Game on!”
